Noticeability of faint radio meteors
Abstract
The noticeability of faint meteors is discussed in the context of the highly sensitive radar complex at Kharkov, Ukrainian SSR. The physical geometric factor of meteor noticeability is analyzed in detail together with its dependence on the density of meteoric bodies, the s parameter of the law of mass distribution of meteoric bodies, and detector sensitivity. The maximum detectable mass of meteoric bodies is determined and found to be 0.000005 g.
