Shock wave structures in binary gas mixtures with regard to temperature overshoot
Abstract
Shock wave structures in argon-helium mixtures are numerically investigated with special regard for the temperature overshoot. Comparison with Harnett and Muntz' experiment is made. The argon temperature overshoot is expected to occur for a sufficiently small mole fraction of argon.
