Introduction to general relativity
Abstract
Material presented in an introduction includes Newton's laws and the Galilean transformation, the Lorentz transformation, the world-line element, and the metric tensor and physical law. Tensor analysis is considered along with the equations of motion of free particles, solutions of the field equations, electromagnetism in general relativity, gravitational fields and waves, relativity in cosmology, unified theories and quantized theories of general relativity, and Minkowski's coordinates and orthogonal transformations.
