Attenuation and cut-off frequencies of double-ridged waveguides
Abstract
Accurate cut-off frequencies for the TE10 and TE20 modes and attenuation data are computed for all standard double-ridged waveguides. The cut-off frequencies are computed based on the transverse-resonance technique. The shunt susceptance introduced by the ridge and the nonzero impedance of the ridge and side walls are taken into account. The results are believed to be more accurate than previously published results.
