Self-similar solutions of equations for unsteady boundary layer
Abstract
Derivation of self-similar solutions of the unsteady boundary layer equations for a compressible gas on a wedge or a cone. Self-similar solutions are obtained for two problems involving unsteady boundary layers - namely, the problem of diffraction of a shock wave moving at a constant speed on a thin wedge or cone, and the problem of the penetration of a thin wedge or cone into a viscous compressible fluid.-
