The turn-off point of Omega Centauri.

Pbotoelectric and photographic photometry to below V = 19 in the globular cluster w Cen indicate that the main sequence turn-off point occurs at about V = , nearly four magnitudes below the horizontal branch. w Cen thus differs from most other clusters which have been studied, since this magnitude difference is usually near mag. Some implications are discussed briefly.
