On the interpretation of continuum flux observations from thermal radio sources-11. Three-dimensional models
Given a function (E), which is the total angular area containing matter with emission measure greater than or equal to E, a unique model of a thermal radio source may be constructed for a given geometry. The construction of a spherical model with filling factor unity is described. Such a model is constructed for the Orion nebula, and compared with a model computed by a different method. The significance of models of this type is briefly discussed.
