Microwave radiation of a low-temperature plasma
Abstract
The radiative properties of a plasma in the microwave range are investigated, and experimental methods for studying this radiation are described. Some basic models of the physical processes determining the microwave radiation of a plasma in both equilibrium and nonequilibrium conditions are described. Topics covered include the selective microwave radiation of lasers in a plasma, the determination of the parameters of an equilibrium, low-temperature plasma according to its intrinsic microwave radiation, the microwave radiation of plasma formations during gas discharge, the microwave radiation of monoatomic and diatomic molecules in a plasma, and the microwave radiation of a shock-heated gas and of a flame.
