Generalized hydrodynamics and collective transport in fluids
Abstract
We present a theory of collective transport in fluids which is based on stochastic hydrodynamic equations. We point out that, in generalized hydrodynamics, a state of the fluid must be specified not only by its hydrodynamic components, but also by correlation components. New transport effects and new relaxation processes are described.
