Solidstate techniques and subsystems for microwave systems
Abstract
The impact of solid-state devices on microwave technology is examined, giving attention to the highest power obtainable from various solid-state devices and to the state-of-the-art with respect to the noise figures in the case of different amplifiers/mixers. Broad options available for planning research and millimeter wave communications in India are considered. Attention is given to some recent developments in microwave signal generation, amplification, detection, and filtering.
