Future generation of microwave systems
Abstract
The current state of development of microwave systems in India is examined. The major difference between the current generation of microwave systems and the new generation is related to the methods employed for the generation of microwave signals. Limitations inherent in the presently used klystrons are being overcome by new approaches. Particular attention in the description of the new developments is given to local oscillators and microwave amplifiers.
