Simultaneous two-wavelength output from multiple-dye pulsed tunable dye lasers
Abstract
We report the observation of simultaneous two-wavelength output from nitrogen-laser-pumped multiple-dye lasers. Rhodamine 6G-cresyl violet mixtures and coumarin-rhodamine 6G mixtures were studied. An analysis of the spatial distribution and time dependence of the two wavelengths indicates that in the range of dye concentrations used, radiative transfer is the dominant excitation transfer process.
