Heat conduction problem for an eccentric ring
Abstract
The steady-state heat conduction problem for an isotropic heat-releasing eccentric ring is solved by conformal mapping. An isotherm equation is derived for the special case where heat release is absent. The analogous problem for an eccentric ring possessing linear anisotropy is solved by an epsilon method.
