Calculation of equilibrium compositions for reacting gaseous systems
Abstract
A numerical method for calculating equilibrium compositions and thermodynamic functions of gas mixtures is analyzed. It is shown that in order to obtain rapid convergence of the successive approximations, it is necessary to know the optimum set of dominant components for each value of p, T. A procedure for selecting such optimum sets is proposed.
