Current distribution on a coplanar radial scatterer
Abstract
A coplanar radial scatterer of generalized configuration is analyzed, and the current distributions are determined for several cases of interest using a polynomial approximation of the current by means of Popovic's method. The double integrals in the integral equations are reduced to mere integrals using Fourier transform, which remarkably reduces the computational time in numerical calculations. The accuracy of a second-order polynomial approximation appears to be satisfactory.
