Colloquium on Microwave Communication, 5th, Budapest, Hungary, June 24-30, 1974, Proceedings. Volumes 1-5
Abstract
A series of papers dealing with microwave communications systems and communications-system theory. Some of the topics covered are: research on SHF space communications in the Italian Sirio satellite program; a microwave system as an orientation aid for the blind; a 2-GHz, 960-channel transmitter-receiver with low power consumption; radio astronomy in the Netherlands; Spread spectrum communications modem designs employing surface-acoustic-wave analog matched filters; signal reception from Intercosmos satellites; radar-signal transmission through broadband microwave links; lightning as an interference source; an adaptive differential-pulse-code modulation using one bit per sample; and data reduction for multiple correlated sources. Individual items are announced in this issue.
