Spectroscopic observations of objects identified with radio sources.
Abstract
Results of a spectroscopic survey of radio source identifications are reported. Redshifts have been determined for 20 quasars and seven radio galaxies. A large proportion of identifications with neutral-colored stellar objects appear to have continuous spectra of the BL Lacertae type. Thus while very high-redshift QSOs will turn up in such a sample, their frequency is probably fairly rare. Subject headings: galaxies quasi-stellar sources or objects - radio sources - redshifts
