On the angular diameter of TX PSC from lunar occultations.
Abstract
Summary. An occultation reappearance of the carbonstar TX Psc. was observed on 18th August 1973 with the 60 cm refractor of the Hamburg observatory using an offset-photometer especially designed for lunar occultation work. An angular diameter of 0.0080+ 0"001 is determined for a uniformly illuminated stellar disk. The comparison with a previous diameter determination by Lasker et aL shows a satisfactory agreement. Key words: carbon star - stellar diameter - lunar occulation
