Preliminary report on the comparison of two absolute compensated radiometers with PACRAD and the representative instruments of the IPS 1956 in DAVOS (October 1973)
Abstract
Absolute compensation radiometers were compared with representative instruments of the IPS 1956 and the absolute radiometer PACRAD. The first radiometer (CROM 2) was equipped with a transversal disk heat fluxmeter as the sensing element, a cylindrical radiative and conductive recuperation element and a flat heating resistor. The second one (CROM 3) was equipped with a transversal ring heat fluxmeter, a conical cavity with a gold spherical mirror as diffused energy recuperation element, and a heating resistor wound on the cone. Preliminary results are discussed.
