Estimation of U sub mf from first principles
Abstract
Particle velocity at minimum fluidization is determined in terms of drag force and particle density. Bubble stability, velocity, and wake and rate of particle circulation are discussed. Heat and mass transfer, gas exchange between the phases, finite particle systems, and bubble cloud size are also included.
