Solution of the Dirichlet problem for a hollow cone
Abstract
The Dirichlet problem for a smallconeangle hollow cone is solved for boundary conditions written in terms of arbitrary position functions. The solution is obtained in the form of infinite series by applying finite integral Hankel transforms to the partial differential equation of the Dirichlet problem. It is shown how the solution can be used in experimental studies of heat transfer in conical ducts.
