Strengite Dissolution in Flooded Soils and Sediments
Abstract
Strengite (FePO4 \cdot 2H2O) undergoes partial dissolution under the reducing conditions existing in a flooded soil. The greatest release of phosphate and iron occurs under conditions of low oxidation-reduction potential in combination with low pH.
