A rarefied gas flow over a flat wall
Abstract
A general slip flow problem of a rarefied gas over an infinite flat wall is considered on the basis of the linearized version of the B-G-K model of the Boltzmann equation together with the boundary condition of Maxwell's type. The behaviors of the gas in the Knudsen layer as well as slip coefficients are obtained over the entire range of accommodation coefficient by means of the refined moment method proposed by Sone.
