Infrared maps of the galactic nucleus.
Abstract
The nucleus of our Galaxy has been mappea at 3.5, S.0, 10.5, and 21 IL with a resolution of Sf5. At least five discrete sources are resolved from the diffuse background, which in turn is separated into three components. The spectra and luminosities favor thermal models for all sources.
