The Triply Periodic White Dwarf HL TAU-76
Abstract
Analysis of 1530 differential blue maguitudes of HL Tau-76 shows that this star is apparently a regular, triply periodic variable with little or no random noise in the extremely complex light variation. The star has two excited pulsation modes (periods P0 12.436 and P1 8.237 min) which are nonlinearly coupled together and which are nonlinearly modulated by a "long" period PL 0.135 day.
