Determination of Atomic Lifetimes and Absolute Oscillator Strengths for Neutral and Ionized Vanadium

Measurements of atomic lifetimes by the beam-foil technique and branching ratios by use of a gas-flow stabilized arc have led to an experimental determination of absolute and relative oscillator strengths of V I and V ii. Some lifetimes of V Iii are also presented. Subject heading: transition probabilities
