Theory of Disordered Ternary Alloys at Intermediate Temperatures
Abstract
Expressions for the shortrangeorder parameters for disordered ternary alloys are given as functions of the system composition and the static twobody configurational potentials of arbitrary range. These expressions are exact to the order (T_{c}T)^{3}, where T_{c} is of the order of the highest temperature at which the system is expected to have any longrange order. A procedure for the computation of this temperature T_{c} is outlined. It is noted that the present approximation removes an obvious inadequacy of an earlier linearapproximation treatment.
