On correlations between particle radiative widths in neutron resonances
Abstract
The cases in which there may exist significant correlations between reduced neutron widths for transitions from neutron resonances to definite final states are considered. Some suggestions on the determination of the degree of K-forbiddenness for E1 and M1 transitions from neutron resonances to low-lying states are given. It is indicated which nuclei are the most favourable for studying experimentally correlations between radiative widths and for determining the degree of K-forbiddenness.
