Measurements of the emission line spectrum of the Orion Nebula in the region A)t4959-8665 are presented. Among the new lines identified are eight 0 I lines whose intensities cannot be accounted for by recombination. The [Cl iv] line A7531 is seen for the first time. From its intensity we find that the abundance of Cl+++ is small compared to that of Cl++. Using this result and the intensities of the [Cl iii] lines given by Aller and Liller we find that N(Cl)/N(O++) 0 oo8.
