Speculations on the chemistry of superheavy elements such as Z = 164
Abstract
Relativistic Hartree-Fock calculations for different ionic charges of element 164 are compared with the theory of hydration differences and various other chemical arguments about specific ligands, and the most common oxidation number should be 164(II) in contrast to 184 varying from (IV) with eight to (XII) with no 6g-electrons.
