Position Measurements of Main-Line Oh/infrared Stars
Abstract
Interferometer position measurements are reported for five main-line OH emission sources associated with infrared stars. The results of the measurements show that in all cases the 1667-MHz OH emission originates from the stellar position, with typical errors of +5 to l 15" of arc. In addition to the observations of the OH/infrared stars, the position of the main-line OH source OH 2019+37 (ON- 2) was measured. This source was found not to coincide with the red star BC Cyg as previous authors have suggested, but instead to be associated with an H II region.
