On Stars Having Strong O VI Emission
Abstract
Twelve stars that show the 0 vi doublet XX38 11, 3834 strongly in emission are nuclei of planetary nebulae. Five other stars (one newly discovered) also show this emission but do not appear to be planetary nuclei. The physical relationship between the two groups is discussed.
