Observation and Classification of the Nebula YM 29
Abstract
YM 29 has been classified at difterent times as a galactic nebula, a planetary nebula, and a supernova remnant. New observations of the radiofrequency and optical spectra specify certain peculiarities of the object. The 6-cm and 20-cm flux densities are low compared with the flux density of the red Palomar Sky Survey image but the radiofrequency spectrum could be nonthermal. Only [0 ii] N3726-3729 is present in the blue spectrum.
