A Restricted ThreeBody Problem in a Resisting Medium
Abstract
For two circularly moving bodies whose masses are in the ratio 1: 999, the transition of a particle from the domain of attraction of the large mass to that of the small mass is studied by backward integration in a resisting medium of constant density, where the resistance is proportional to the square of the particle's velocity.
