On the interpretation of the pulsar dispersion measure.
From a new list of OB-stars estimates have been made of the contribution to the pulsar dispersion measure due to H fl-regions intersected by the line of sight towards these objects. If the density in the neighbourhood of early type B-stars is of the order of 1 cm-8, a large portion of the pulsar dispersion measures could be explained in this way. Key words: OB-stars - H ii regions - pulsar dispersion measure
