SingleParticle ResonantState Wave Functions in a Simple Description of Isobaric Analog Resonances
Abstract
An example is given for the use of singleparticle resonantstate wave functions in describing nuclearresonance phenomena. The resonantstate functions are generated by solving numerically the onebody Schrödinger equation with pure outgoing asymptotics. The Lanemodel Hamiltonian of the target+nucleon system is diagonalized on a basis consisting of boundneutron and resonantproton wave functions. The agreement with the result obtained by the exact integration of the coupled Lane equations is good.
