Divergences and renormalization in multiloop dual diagrams

We analyse the new divergences which have recently been discovered in multiloop planar dual diagrams. We show that they can be removed by defining a counterterm for each order in the coupling constant g². The physical interpretation of the counterterms as a mass renormalization is maintained at all orders in g².
