The magnetic moment of the 2761 keV 8 + state in 92Mo
Abstract
The g-factor for the 2761 keV 8 + state in 92Mo has been measured by a time-differential technique with the 90Zr (α, 2n) 92Mo reaction. The result is g = 1.40 ± 0.07 ( μ = 11.2 ± 0.6 nm) which is consistent with a pure |(1 g{9}/{2}) 2, 8 +> wave function. Evidence for an enhanced gl is discussed.
