This paper describes the Wisconsin instrumentation flown in the Orbiting Astronomical Observatory -2. The equipment consists of five filter photometers for measurements in the wavelength interval from 1200 to 4200 A and two scanning spectrometers covering the region from 1050 to 3800 A. Operation of the observatory and astronomical instruments is carried out under control from the ground. Those phases of the operation most directly related to the Wisconsin photometric observations are described. An account of the type and quality of data is presented. Discussion of the data will follow in subsequent papers.
