Discussion of gravitational field equations in case of a general spherically symmetric metric form
Abstract
Exact solutions of the gravitational field equations describing a sphere of fluid at rest in a canonical Schwarzschild coordinate system have been obtained in many papers. One usually applied the method of reducing the problem to that of finding solutions of a differential equation: either a second order homogeneous equation or a first order inhomogeneous equation. Here, the respective differential equations are given for a generally spherically symmetric metric form.
