Photometric evidence for the existence of delta LYR cluster.
Abstract
Photoelectric (UBV) photometry of 77 stars to visual magnitude 17.5 in the region of δ Lyrae reveals the presence of the cluster previously suspected by Grant and Stephenson. Values of E(B - V) = +0.05 and (m - = 7.5 mag are derived. The cluster is similar in age, in distribution of stars on the main sequence, and in motion to other members of the Pleiades group. The brightest star, δ 2 Lyr (M4 II), has a luminosity of M~ = -3.3 mag
