MesonMeson Coupling Constants in Broken SU(3) and the Algebra of Currents
Abstract
Sum rules are obtained for mesonmeson coupling constants in broken SU(3) with symmetrybreaking effects taken into account to first order, using the algebra of currents and the hypothesis of partial conservation of axialvector currents. In particular, enlarged sets of couplingconstant sum rules are obtained for the vectoroctetpseudoscalaroctetvectoroctet (V_{8}P_{8}V_{8}) coupling constants and for the V_{8}P_{8}P_{8} coupling constants. The corresponding twoparameter families of symmetrybreaking interaction Hamiltonians are also given.
