Density of interstellar matter near a star
Abstract
The problem of the gravitational enhancement of the density of interstellar matter near a star is con- sidered, where the temperature of this matter is not zero at great distances from the star. In general this enhanced density will still be less than that of the surrounding particles that are intrinsic to the star itself, and the enhancement of density will not in itself be of prime importance in the discussion of collisions.
