Au sujet des defauts de symetrie dans les mesures de polarisation. III. Discussion de l'influence des défauts de symétrie instrumentaux dans le cas des méthods de mesure usuelles de la polarisation
The polarization value obtained from the usual methods of measurement does not depend on the possible existence of symmetry defects if previously established conditions are fulfilled by the factors expressing the influence of these symmetry defects in a general way 1). By introducing in the general conditions the particular form 2) assumed by these factors when the symmetry defects are experimental ones, it is possible to state precisely the experimental symmetry defects, the influence of which is avoided completely or not, rigorously or provided that some approximations are valid. As a conclusion, one may say that the usual methods of measurement are nearly equivalent.
