Cosmic radio noise measurements from satellite Ariel II. I, Receiving system and preliminary results
Abstract
The receiver is designed to measure the average sky brightness at frequencies between 0.7 Mc/s and 3.5 Mc/s, using a dipole aerial 40 m overall length. Some examples of recordings are presented, with values of sky brightness for frequencies above I 25 Mc/s.
