Potential Curves for the Observed States of N_{2} Below 11 eV.

Potential energy curves for the X +, A 3 , B 3flg, B' , a' , a 1ll , w 1A , and C ll electronic states have been calculated from the latest spectroscopic data. The present tabulation is complete in the sense that all available experimental data below 11 eV have been used. The data reported by Lofthus and by Dieke and Heath have been re-evaluated and a complete listing of the spectroscopic constants is given
