Circumstellar Envelopes Formed Through Rotationally Forced Ejection.
Abstract
The problem considered is that of determining the distribution of density in circumstellar envelopes formed through rotationally forced ejection. For an idealized formulation in which viscous and magnetic forces are neglected, in which there is axial symmetry, and in which the only motions are circular motions in planes perpendicular to the star's rotation axis and centered on this axis, the forms of the surfaces of constant density are derived on the assumption that the surfaces of constant pressure and density are identical. The density calibration of these surfaces is then derived for several important and illustrative cases.
