Polarimetric observations of few supergiant stars from Cepheus II association
Abstract
As V. Ambartsumian shows, in the associations, which contain hot supergiant stars, cool supergiants also can be a member. Initial results of the Cepheus II association's VV, ST, RW Cepheus cool supergiant stars' polarimetric investigation results are given in this work, which states about light polarization variations of these stars. The observations are carried out using new instruments. The main changes in these instruments have been done in two directions: electrical and mechanical. These changes allow us to register light polarimetric observations fully automatic way. The time required for one polarimetric observation in the present measuring system is shortened about 4-6 times compared to the previous system [2]. The registration of darkness (zero point) is also done automatically by appropriate electromagnetic closure and by "automatic block closure" of a jump.
