A New O - B Association with an Unusual Reddening Effect.
Abstract
The colors and magnitudes in the (U, B, V) system for the stars in a newly discovered 0-B association in Cepheus are presented. The intrinsically bluer stars, that is, those with earlier spectral classes in this group, are observed to be systematically the redder, the observations extending from stars of spectral class 07 to B5. It is concluded that these stars are still surrounded by part of the parent interstellar material.
