Two red degraded bands at 2725 and 2885 A have been excited in a hollow-cathode discharge tube in flowing ammonia. Their rotational structures have been analyzed, and they are shown to be the (1, 0) and (0, 0) bands, respectively, of the i + - 3llr transition of NH+. Large perturbations in the 3llr state are caused by a state. Wave numbers of the band lines and molecular constants for the three states are listed. Weaker bands at 2614 and 2825 A probably belong to the same system.
